Overall, I'm definitely a fan. I ordered backyard steak, butter Lettuce, and a side of California rice. If you are Jury duty, or just in town, this restaurant is well run, efficient and very delicious. red and green butter lettuce, tarragon dressing. I have to go at least once a week to get my fix. Chicken is sooo tender, comes with the skin; thank you. He delivered my food and when I cut into it saw it was dark meat. Parking was even very easy, there's a huge lot right across the street. My friend ordered a salad with chicken and I selected a salad with a side of veggies. Tuna Niçoise salad - I would get this at least once a week when I worked in this area. The food is always fresh and prepared to order. There is NO great way to balance them on the plate and if you use the table to plate method they have to sit blade up...a real no-no in any kitchen. This was more like very healthy and enjoyable fast-food -- you pay for it at the counter, wait for them to put your meal on a tray, and carry it to your self-selected table.That said, there's really nothing to complain about. Both were very good, but fairly small portions. Salads are all about $11 & are big, hearty salads. My coworker liked her Butter Lettuce salad but I wasn't pleased with the Tender Greens salad (needed more dressing for it to taste like anything). We also shared their mint lemonade which was very refreshing but a tad sweet. Each piece was wilted, deteriorating and soggy (dressing on side). I am obsessed with the grilled veggies on the Butter Lettuce Simple Salad. The employees are friendly and helpful. The descriptions of the food make it very hard to pick, so i literally closed my eyes and picked one. Overall, this is a great place to get a giant plate of good food for $11 and the decor is quite nice too. It was perfect. I'll totally be back though....soooooo yummy!! I had the salt and pepper chicken sandwich with the butter lettuce salad. this is your typical tender greens restaurant, maybe a bit larger. Lots of flavor, good texture, steak was juicy and cooked medium done, ciabatta bread that housed the steak was the perfect consistency of that crunchy outside but soft buttery bread inside. probably because it was busy and they wanted to concentrate on speed and quality of food.they did both very well.there was lots of room to eat, both indoors and outside on the patio. Very good looking and tasting food here. Backyard steak salad - steak is always perfectly cooked; a little pink in the middle, but not much. I don't remember those being there when I first started coming here in the beginning of the year. I always order the salad with Caesar dressing, but last night I tried the Butter Lettuce salad with the tarragon dressing. I checked online and they won't say if they are organic potatoes, but from sustainable farms. You have to stand in line to order, but there's no menu to read until you get to the cashiers! Upon walking in, I was initially pleased with the menu. So disappointing. Overall I have had a about 10 different things here and they have all been really good. its not "wow" worthy enough for me to go out of my way to come here instead of a location closer to me, but definitely a good recommendation if this is the closest tender greens to you... cause you gotta go to tender greens at least once (and you'll be hooked)! The food was served quickly so I made my way throughout the dining room and found a table squeezed between two others nearly forcing me to become a friendly neighbor to those who already occupied the tables on either side enjoying their meals. The sweetened hibiscus tea was great too. My husband had the roasted chicken with the same sides. I also really like their desserts because it may not be the same from day to day. Being a tender-foot to this vegi-friendly establishment, I was abit taken back when I entered the front doors to find that it was setup cafeteria style.
